Psalm 25:3 (NLT), "No one who trusts in you will be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others."
Thursday... There are a lot of methods that can be used.
Have you found that disgrace is one of them?David writes in Psalm 25:1-2 (NLT), "O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemy rejoice in my defeat."
The Evil One and those who follow him use so many methods to defeat us and disgrace is one of them. Have you watched YouTube lately?
Now David doesn't stop. In Verse 3 he says, "No one who trusts in you will be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others."
Verse 2 in the Amplified Bible says, "O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on you with stedfast confidence], do not let me be ashamed or my hope in You be disappointed; do not let my enemies triumph over me." That is a very good prayer. Yes, unwavering trust gives stedfast confidence.
Now the key is in whom do I put my total trust? I'm afraid that the political party that some who have put their total trust, won't do it? I'm afraid my trust in me won't do it. Again, "O my God, in You I [have unwavering] trust [and I rely on you with stedfast confidence]."
Verse 3 continues. "Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed; those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed)." It's all in the focus and the trust.
Look at verses 8-10 (NLT) and remember this. "The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands."
That is what it means to trust.
Verses 19-21 says, "See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me! Protect me! Rescue my life from them! Do not let me be disgraced, for in you I take refuge. My integrity and honesty protect me, for I put my hope in you."
Now this is so important to see. Ephesians 2:8-10 says, "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this, it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
Yes, we will not be disgraced because God saved you by his grace. So believe, yes, believe! Yes, yes! #todaysbeginning
