Psalms 90:17 (NLT), "And may our Lord God show us approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful." Thursday... We each one need and want approval, don't we? It feels so good to do something and have someone whose acceptance is important to us say, "Good job." Does that matter to you? Of course it does. There are so many kids who just want their dad or mom say that they are proud of them. It really does matter. And it really matters for us to have God's approval, doesn't it? Moses, the writer of Psalms 90 ends this Psalm in verse 17 (NLT) by saying, "And may our Lord show us approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!" God out in a desolate place through a burning bush which got Moses attention gave him a major task to do.
