Friday... Here are some really, good thoughts for today. We really do need the thoughts of Proverbs everyday. This is the 10th day of the month so here are some thoughts from Proverbs 10. Verse 3 (NLT), "The Lord will not let the godly go hungry, but he refuses to satisfy the craving of the wicked." Here is maybe the reason why, verse 4, "Lazy people are soon poor; hard workers get rich." One of the things that I learned from my dad was to be a hard worker. And we were rich in so many different ways. He was a great example. Verse 5, "A wise youth harvests in the summer, but one who sleeps during harvest is a disgrace." Here is how the Message Paraphrase says it, "Make hay while the sun shines - that's smart; go fishing during harvest - that's stupid." I love that!
