But then he was thrown in prison because his master's wife didn't get what she wanted. Yes life can be so unjust and life can change. And then in verse 21 it says, "But the Lord was with Joseph in the prison and showed him his faithful love. And the Lord made Joseph a favorite with the prison warden."
