Wednesday... Keep at it, don't stop. David starts Psalm 22 (NLT) with some discouraging words. He says, "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help?" He goes on, "Everyday I call to you, my God, but you do not answer. Every night I lift my voice but I find no relief." Some people live there with that attitude all the time but not David. Yes he had some bad days and he went a little bit overboard in what he said but he didn't stop there. I love how God knows us and he accepts us but he also knows when we are serious. And allows us to live through our negative feeling but then come back to what is real. But some don't and they live in that world of despair. But David didn't. He didn't stop there. He kept at it and so can you. Here is what he says in the last verses of this Psalm.
