Thursday... This is a great mystery. I love mysteries. My leisure reading or TV show watching is usually a mystery. David says in Psalm 40:3b (MSG), "they enter the mystery, abandoning themselves to God." And therein lies some of the challenge, the unknown of a relationship with God. Now the key to solve a mystery is to read the book or watch the show to the end. But just setting the book down or turning off the show doesn't let you solve the mystery but that is what so many do in their relationship with God. Paul writes to Timothy and he says in 2 Timothy 3:15-17, "There's nothing like the written word of God to showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or the another - showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way.
