Friday... Yes, we are too! Now Paul writes two letters to young Timothy and he starts this second letter this way. He says in verses 1 & 2 (MSG) of chapter 1 of his second letter to Timothy, "I, Paul, am on special assignment for Christ, carrying on God's plan laid out in the Message of life by Jesus. I write this to you, Timothy, the son I love so much. All the best from our God and Christ be yours!" Do you know what his special assignment was? Between these two letters he wrote to Timothy, Paul was put in prison and he didn't look at it like a horrible thing to happen to him, he saw it as a special assignment from God. It wasn't how he thought his life was going to happen but when it did, he saw it in a different way than what so many do when they head into trouble such as you may be headed into.
