Wednesday... Is this you today? Is this what you are feeling? David writes in Psalm 69:1-3 (NLT), "Save me God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck. Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can't find a foothold. I am in deep water, and the floods overwhelm me. I am exhausted from crying for help; my throat is parched. My eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to help me." I love the honesty of the Psalms. So, what do we do? I love what Peter says in his first letter. In chapter 5 verses 6-7 he writes, "So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares for you." Listen, He cares for you. He cares for you. Now this is important. Verses 8-9 says, "Stay alert!
