Psalm 13:5-6 9 (NLT), "But I will trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me." Wednesday... Maybe you are in this same spot. I love the honesty of David the writer of Psalm 13 and he starts by saying what we may want to say because we are in the same spot. He starts in verses 1-2 (NLT) by saying "O Lord, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?" Maybe you woke up this morning with those same feelings of despair but you were afraid to say it, to feel it. Yes, life can be so tough and we feel that no one cares and maybe we feel that God doesn't even seem to care. But this isn't where David stops.
