Wednesday... He is more than good. Yes He is. In my prayer time this morning I said that God is good and it hit me that He is more than good. Yes He is good but He is more than just good. There are people that I know that are good people. I enjoy being with them, around them but God is more than that. He really is. David writes in Psalm 8:1 (NIV), "Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens." Majestic is way, way better that just good and we need to acknowledge that. The MESSAGE says in verses 3-4, "I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous, your handmade sky-jewelry, Moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why bother with us? Why take a second look our way?" And those are very good questions. But He does.
