Thursday... Yes, he does. Yes, yes, yes! Life can have times of desperation and lost hopes and we feel helpless and terrified. But the Psalmist reminds us in Psalm 10:17 (NLT), "Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless." Yes, we may feel so helpless and hopeless but "Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless." Yes he does. Yes, yes, yes! Now the ones who don't know the Lord, who don't have a relationship with him, do have a problem. They really are helpless and they don't even know it. Earlier in verses 4-6 the Psalmist writes, "The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. Yet they succeed in everything they do. They do not see your punishment awaiting them. They sneer at all their enemies. They think, 'Nothing bad will ever happen to us! We will be free of trouble.'" They think they know but they don't.
