Saturday... Do you want to feel good? Do you? Maybe we need this. David writes in Psalm 41:1 (MSG), "Dignify those who are down on their luck; you'll feel good - that's what God does." Here are some synonyms for the word dignify. They are, exalt, elevate, glorify, praise. promote, distinguish and there are more. Too many times we do like the priest and the pharisee who walked on the other side of the road from where the guy who was laying after being robbed, beaten and left for dead. Now that guy for sure was down on his luck. But the good samaritan came and took care of him. That is what a good neighbor does and they feel good when they do it. When we were sick with Covid we had neighbors in our new neighborhood who left food at our front door. We took breakfast to our kids who have Covid and left it at their front door this morning. There are people all around us who are down on their luck and we need to lift them up. That's what God does. David goes on in vers...
