Wednesday... Once we were but now I am. As I was reading in 1 Peter 2 this morning this word "once" jumped out at me. Here is what verse 10 (NIV) says, "Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy." I'm sure that we all can look back on a time that once we were and it does not bring good memories. But them in some, there is a time that we did something about it and the once we were turns into but now I am and it is such a good change. There are times that we can look back and think, who was that person but then something happened to us and we have definitely changed. Or have you? Well, I'm here to tell you that you can.
