David wrote in verse 6 (NLT), "My enemies have set a trap for me. I'm weary from distress. They have dug a deep pit in my path, but they themselves have fallen into it." This that we are going through is not over yet. God is still working. The Evil One thinks he has us trapped but it's not over till God says it is over. David writes in verse 7, "My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises!" How are we doing with our praises? Praising Him will show where our confidence is. Yes we may be weary but our praising Him will lift us. "My heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises." Look at verses 1-3 (MSG).
