Thursday... Do we realize what we really have? Do we? We have access to the greatest of all greats who has ever been and will ever be and it is so easy for us to take Him for granted. The Psalmist didn't. In Psalm 48:1 (NLT), he says, "How great is the Lord, how deserving of praise." Oh we love to throw the word great around. Wow, Gonzaga is a great team. Mookie Betts is a great baseball player. NCIS is a great TV show. And we love to give them praise. And maybe they deserve our praise. But "How great is the Lord, how deserving of praise." He really deserves our praise. What have all these others done for us? We just love to throw that word, great around. Verse 9 says, "O God, we meditate on your unfailing love." Just stop and think, meditate on what He has done for you, what He is doing for you. Here, the greatest of the great loves you with an unfailing love. He really does and He shows it to you everyday.
