Acts 1:8a (NLT), "But you will receive power, when the Holy Spirit comes upon you." Tuesday... Yes, it can happen. There is something that is true throughout the whole Bible and even up to this day in which we live. David in Psalm 70 in verse 1 (NLT) says, "Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me!" And then verse 5 says, "But as for me, I am poor and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God. You are my helper and my savior; O Lord, do not delay," Have you been tempted lately to pray theses prayers? "Come quickly, Lord," "Please hurry to my aid" and "O Lord do not delay." And then over in Acts 1, right before Jesus was going to be taken in a cloud up to heaven they asked and asked and asked him in verse 6b, "Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?"
