Thursday... I love the mountains. I really do. They draw me to God's greatness. The Psalmist writes in Psalms 76:4 (NLT), "You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains." And that is so true. They are everlasting and so is He. And that makes a difference in what we are facing today. This pandemic seems to be everlasting but it isn't. God is. Verses 5 & 6 says, "Our boldest enemies have been plundered. They lie before us in the sleep of death. No warrior could lift a hand against us. At the blast of your breath, O God of Jacob, their horses and chariots lay still." You realize that this pandemic will never win, it will never beat us as long as we put our trust in God? We may die but that is the ultimate victory. We go to be with God. Again, this pandemic can never win as long as we put our trust in God. And He is everlasting. The pandemic isn't.
