But He did it anyway. Now at some point each one took up the responsibility for their own actions. And God still loved them. And God still loves us because He is our Maker. Going on, verse 3 says, "A prudent and farsighted person sees the evil [of sin] and hides himself [from it], but the naive continue on and are punished [by suffering the consequences of sin]."
