Monday... Yes, the adventure of trying can have a great reward. There are some people who have never taken the risk to taste something that they have never tasted. We have a five year old granddaughter who doesn't try new stuff to eat. She may never have eaten it but she knows that she won't like it so it is hard to get her to try something new. But the adventure of trying something new can have such a great reward if we just try. Now there are so many out there who just won't try having a relationship with God. They have a preconceived notion that it just isn't for them. But King David in Psalm 34:8 (NLT) says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him." The Message says, "Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see - how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him."
