Tuesday... Now we have our good days and we have our bad days and God understands and cares. I love David and his honesty and his emotions. And I love that God allows him and us to be honest. And that He understands. Yes He does. Look at this. David said in Psalm 39:2 - 4 (NLT), "But as I stood there in silence - not even speaking of good things - the turmoil within me grew worse. The more I thought about it, the hotter I got, igniting a fire of words: 'Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered - how fleeting my life is." He must have been having a bad day. He then says, verses 6 - 7, "We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. And so, Lord, where do I put my hope?" He is dealing with what life had thrown at him and he comes to a point where he asked a good question. A question that on our bad days we too ask.
