Wednesday... We think we have it all together. We do. We have accepted Christ into our life and we think we have it all together. We're ready to handle it all. But the Apostle Paul in Colossians 2 starts verse 6 (NLT) by saying, "And now." There is something more. We have just started. We get married, we have a baby, we have started that great job or whatever it is and we think we have arrived. But Paul says, "And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him." We planted some new flowers over the weekend and we could have stood back and admired them and thought that we were done but not in the desert. I go out every night and ever morning and water them. The planting is just the beginning. He goes on in verse 7, "Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him, Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness."
