Saturday... Please don't give up on me! Is that your prayer to God today? Is that what you want to say to God? Psalm 119:1-4 (MSG) says, "You're blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. You're blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him. That's right - you don't go off on your own; you walk straight along the road he set. You, God, prescribe the right way to live; now you expect us to live it." And that is what we want to do. But then the Psalmist prays what we also want and need to pray. Verses 5-6 says, "Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set. Then I'd never have regrets in comparing my life to your counsel." We need you God! We see what is available to us, we see you instructions, see the path that is set before us but we need You. We need you God. And then verses 7 & 8 (NLT), "As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living...
