Tuesday... There is a whole lot of anxiety going on. There really is, isn't there? This is a very special, joyful time of the year but there is also a lot of stress and anxiety that comes with it so maybe 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV) could be a great reminder for us. It says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." There are those around you who care for you but they don't have the resources that God has to take care of you. He really does care for you. And He is the only one who can take care of it all. Verses 6-7 in the Amplified Bible says, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]."
