Monday... What do you want? Now that is a good question to ask here at the beginning of a new day, a new work week, isn't it? I do that with my family every year heading into their birthdays and Christmas. I ask them to make a list of what they want. And that is what God did with Solomon the son of David in 2 Chronicles 1:1 (NLT) as he "took firm control of his kingdom." Verse 7 says, "That night God appeared to Solomon and said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!" Now that would be a great question for God to come to us and ask at the beginning of another work week, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!" And I think that God is asking that of us, "What do you want?" I also think God already knew what Solomon's answer would be but He still asked him.
