Wednesday... They showed us the way. So good to have examples to show us what to do. My mom and dad were such good examples. When I was really young, my mom, when my sister and I were getting ready to go to sleep would tell us story about different people in the Bible. They were great examples for a young boy and they still are. The writer of Psalm 99 did the same thing. In verses 6-8 (MSG) he says, " Moses and Aaron were his priests, Samuel among those who prayed to him" We can do that too. "and he answered them." That's a great thing to know. "He spoke from the pillar of cloud. And they did what he said; they kept the law he gave them" And that is important to see. "And then God answered them." And God is still the same today but this is also important to see, "(but you were never soft on their sins.)" The NLT says, "but you punished them when they did wrong." We need examples to show the way. God's Word shows us ...
