Thursday... He is, He really is and I am so glad He is. There is a phrase in Psalm 103:8 (NIRV) that caught my attention this morning. It is, "He is slow to get angry." Aren't you so glad that that is true. He has every right to look at us and our immaturity, our selfishness and to really be angry with us. But, "He is slow to get angry." I love being a father and I love being a Papa, a grandfather. I also love being a husband, but I don't always like how I respond in being a dad, a husband and a Papa. Too many times my selfishness, my pride, my hurt feelings comes through instead of my love and I get angry. Verses 8 - 11, "The Lord is tender and kind. He is gracious. He is slow to get angry. He is full of love. He won't keep bringing charges against us. He won't stay angry with us forever. He won't punish us for our sins as much as we should be punished.
