Saturday... This could be the day. Have you ever awakened on a new day with excitement? You have a sense that something good is going to happen? This could be the day? Now some always it seems wake up with dread, with fear but now you, this could be the day. That thought came to me as I was reading Mark 10 in the New Testament. Verses 46-48 (MSG) says, "They spent some time in Jericho. As Jesus was leaving town, trailed by his disciples and a parade of people, a blind beggar by the name of Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, was sitting alongside the road. When he heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by," Now that was something to know isn't it? He had to be thinking, this could be the day. And that could be true of us today. Have you heard that Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God is passing by where you are? With that in mind, if that is really true, that could and should change our day. So what will we do?
