Stumbling gets in the way of being blessed. Now God gives each one of us opportunities that bring blessings. Earlier in this chapter in verse 13 (NIV) it says, "The poor and the oppressor have this in common: The Lord gives sight to the eyes of both." God has made it so that we don't need to stumble and he will bless us. At my age I do have greater potential at stumbling but I just need to be more careful. Now in our spiritual lives we all need to attend to what God reveals and if we do he will bless us. Now I also read this morning in the NT book of Ephesians about something that does cause us...
