And we also have this in common, we choose how we use it. A great prayer to pray each morning is that God would open our eyes to see what He wants us to see in His Word. We can choose to read but we also need to ask His Spirit to help us really see. To see the opportunities of a new day and to see the potential and the consequences of our choices. Seeing is a tremendous gift and responsibility. The first verse of this chapter says, "For people who hate discipline and only get more stubborn, there'll come a day when life tumbles in and they break, but by then it will be too late."
