Wednesday... Here is a good question for us today. David in Psalm 34:12 (NLT) asks a good question, "Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous?" I'm sure we all do. David goes on in verses 13, "Then keep your tongue from speaking evil." As we read the internet that doesn't seem to be happening. Even Christian are having trouble with this one. All the negativity, all the hatred. He says, "and your lips from telling lies." When we tell lies they can weigh heavily on us. Verse 14, "Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it." Again this is another area that we are not doing very well, is it? There is so much unrest and division. There are so many battles being fought but are they the ones that God would have us fight? But we have our rights. But I'm not sure that is a good battle. I think peace is a better one.
