Monday... I want David to pray for me. Look at Psalm 20. Verse 1 (NIV) says, "May the Lord answer you when you are in distress. May the God of Jacob protect you." Verse 2, "May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion." (MSG), "Send reinforcements from Holy Hill, dispatch from Zion fresh supplies." Verse 3 (NIV), "May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings." Verse 4, "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed." Verse 5 is to us after all of this has happened, "May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God." (MSG), "When you win, we plan to raise the roof and lead the parade with our banners." And then verse 5 continues (NIV), "May the Lord grant all your requests."
