Thursday... We can't get the better of God.

Thursday... We can't get the better of God. We can't! There are so many things that we believe that we can do and we can do so much. We really can but we can't get the better of God. Proverbs 21:30 (MSG) says, "Nothing clever, nothing conceived, nothing contrived, can get the better of God." The Contemporary English Version says it this way, "No matter how much you know or what plans you make, you can't defeat the Lord." We live in a day when people seem to do the impossible. Proverbs 21:30 (NLT) says, "No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord." Now we really have a very high opinion of ourselves and that is important but it is more important to realize that we don't come close to God. He is all-powerful, all-knowing. There is nothing, no one that compares to God especially us. But we don't live like that is true. Now if we understand that, we realize that and we seek His wisdom and live His plan...
