Monday... Let's reinforce this, especially today. There are so many thoughts that have a way of reinforcing actions and attitudes that can make such a difference in our lives. That is one of the reasons why I read a chapter from the book of Proverbs everyday. And in my reading today I found this very good reminder. Proverbs 13:11 (MSG) says, "Easy come, easy go, but steady diligence pays off." I have found that to be true in my 401K. Not too long ago it was easy come and it seems now easy go but the key here is to be diligent and steady. But the same is true in getting up on Monday and heading off to work. We want it to come easy, we love that leisure stuff, but Solomon says, "steady diligence pays off." The New Living Translation puts it this way, "Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time."
