Monday... Here is a great way to start the New Year! Psalm 92:1 (NLT) starts out by saying, "It is good to give thanks to the Lord." It really is. Thanks is always in response to something someone has done for or said to you. Think back on your year and look for the good things that happened to you. And they are there. We so many times can quickly bring up the bad and doing that can weigh us down with discouragement but looking back and bringing up the good by thanking God will give us hope for what is ahead. So take some time to thank Him. And then it continues in verse 2, "to sing praises to the Most High." Praise reminds us of who He is and what He can do. And singing praises to the Most High also brings confidence and hope in you as you face this New Year. You are not alone and He has what it takes to take you through whatever this year will throw at you. He can handle it. Praise Him for who He is. Now verse 2 gives us an example.
