Colossians 4:5 (NLT, "Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity." Monday... Let's remember why we are here. Now Paul in writing this letter to the Colossians tells them the reason why we are here. And I think it may be important for we who are followers of Christ today to be reminded of why we are here and what our tasks are. Paul writes in verses 2-4, "Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should." Grant it, we are not in prison but we are living in a divisive world and God gives us many opportunities to speak to others and show them about what a difference Christ can make in their lives.
