Saturday... So, how do you handle bad news? Of course we don't like it, but how do you handle it? The writer of Psalm 112 in verses 6 and 7 (NIV) says, "Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast trusting in the Lord." That's what living right will do, that's what trusting in the Lord will do. You won't be shaken by bad news, you won't be afraid of bad news. So many, even Christians have lived in fear. They have been afraid of what is and will happen each day. Their trust has been shaken by the news, they don't want to hear it. They are afraid. If that is you, this would be a good verse to put up on your refrigerator or on the mirror you look into as you get ready each morning.
