Thursday... There is more to it. You have possibly heard of how Jesus took five loaves and two fish and He fed 5,000 + people. Now that was a tremendous miracle but there was more to it. Luke tells of this happening over in Luke 9:10-17 (NLT). It was a tremendous miracle but look at what verse 14 says, "For there were about 5,000 men there. Jesus replied, 'Tell them to sit down in groups of about fifty each." Now how many groups would that possibly be and how many disciples were there? Well, we don't know how many groups because it says there were 5,000 men not counting the women or kids but there were only twelve disciples. He goes on in verses 15-17, "So the people all sat down. Jesus took the fives loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people.
