Thursday... Could that be what we have become? Could it? The Apostle Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 13 and it was a very important Word from God then as it is now. He starts by saying in verse 1 (AMP), "If I speak with the tongues of men and angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God's love for me], then I become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction]." And therein is our potential in our family, in our church, in our community and in our world. Have we lost our influence because we are an annoying distraction? Could that be what we have become? Could it? Later in verse 7 he emphasizes what love does. He says, "Love bears all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]."
