Sunday... He did it. This is so important for us to see as we start a new year. Yes, I believe God did it. I have started reading in this New Year the first book of the Bible, the book of Genesis. It is such an important book. Now the beginning part of the book is very controversial because of what is stated in 1:1. People are constantly striving to prove that this verse is wrong. No way could it happen so they throw it aside and read portions of the Bible and pick up nuggets of truth but it really doesn't mean anything if you don't believe verse 1. Here is what it says (NLT), "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Now the first phrase in Genesis 1:1 is so important in believing the Bible and in starting a new year. It says, "In the beginning God..." If you pass over that and don't acknowledge it as truth then you are all on your own in living this new year.
