Tuesday... Yes, they are and yes, we are. There are things that we all need to know that will make such a difference in our life and in the lives of others. Psalm 72:12-14 (NLT), says, "He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy, and he will rescue them. He will redeem them from oppression and violence," and all of that is so important to know. And it does make such a difference to know. But this next phrase is what gripped me this morning in my reading. Verse 14b, says, "for their lives are precious to him." If we are poor, if we are oppressed, if we are weak and needy, then we are precious to him. Yes, we are all precious to Him. Yes you are. We too many times look down on people, we are critical of them, judgmental toward them but they are precious to God. They really do matter to HIm and we do really matter to Him.
