Psalm 77:11 (NLT), "But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago." Tuesday... These two words can have such an impact. They really can, both negative and positive. Psalm 77 starts the way many of our days start. The first verse (NLT) says, "I cry out to God, I shout." And that is a good thing but he goes on. "Oh that God would listen to me!" Verse 3 says, "I think of God, and I moan, overwhelmed with longing for his help." Now the writer, Asaph is allowed by God to tell his feelings and so are we. And so many start our day that way. And God allows him to keep writing. In verse 10 though he writes, "And I said, 'This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.'" And I'm sure that we all have been tempted to believe that, to say that. Let's continue. He's not done. Verse 11 changes direction. He starts with the two words that can have such an impact on us.
