Saturday... I am a Christian and this is what I think. It is so important for us to tell everyone what we think, isn't it? I mean, the internet gives us great opportunities to give our opinions about everything. But is that what really matters to God? Is it? He is the one we serve not our own wisdom or thoughts or opinions. Paul in writing to the church in Corinth, a church that had a great opinion of itself but their actions didn't live up to their talk, said this in I Corinthians 4:20 (NLT), "For the kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God's power." The Message says, "God's Way is not a matter of mere talk; it's an empowered life." And it takes great power to not alway give our opinion about everything. God wants to use us. He has given us as Christians a tremendous opportunity to show His power and His love and His truth and His thoughts and His way. It is called life.
