Wednesday... Is this you today? David writes in Psalm 18:6 (NLT), "But in my distress I cried to the Lord;" There are so many in distress who don't know that this is an option but for those of us who have a relationship with God this "but" makes all the difference. It really does. He goes on, "yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears." Praying need not be a last resort it can be and needs to be the first thing we do. In verses 1-3 David writes, "I love you Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies."
