Wednesday... Words are so powerful. David in Psalm 12:6 (AMP) writes, "The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times." God's words, his promises are powerful and pure. Have you found that true? Verse 7 says, "You Lord, will preserve and keep them; You will protect him from this [evil] generation." Now that is a promise that I have found to be very true. I know we are in this midst of an election and we are listening to what is being said and wondering if they can be trusted. Well, I have found that I can trust God's word, his promises. They have held true through so many difficulties in my life. But our words are also powerful. David's son, Solomon over in Proverbs 12:25 (NLT) says, "Worry weigh a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up." And that is so true isn't it?
