Psalm 101:2 (NLT), "I will live a blameless life - when will you come to help me?" Tuesday... It is all up to me. Do you feel that way? The writer of Psalm 101 in verse 2 (NLT) says, "I will live a blameless life - when will you come to help me?" And that is a great response. We really do need God in all ways. Now over in Matthew 5, Jesus gave his Sermon on the Mount and he begins with this thought. In verse 3 he says, "God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs." Now the Amplified Bible says it this way, "Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever]."
