Tuesday... It really does make a difference in how we feel. The writer of Psalm 73 started this Psalm focusing on those who were rich around him and he got into a really bad mood. Verse 7 (NLT) says, "These fat cats have everything their hearts could ever wish for!" And that thought got him into a very bad mood. Even to the point in verse 21 he says, "Then I realized that my heart was bitter and I was all torn up inside." What we focus on does make a difference in how we feel. It really does. But he didn't stop there. He started evaluating what this focus was doing to him. And in his honesty he stops and says in verse 22, "I was so foolish and ignorant - I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you." And that was good. We need to get to the point of realizing what it is that has gotten us into a bad mood and that it is really senseless. It really is. And we need to stop and really evaluate what is the truth, and to change our focus. And I hope tha...
