Friday... Could there be something more for me? Could there be? The writer of Psalm 102 is going through some tough times but he does the right thing. He turns to God. God is the source of so much in our lives. Have you found that true? Well the writer says in verses 1 & 2 (MSG), "God, listen! Listen to my prayer, listen to the pain in my cries. Don't turn your back on me just when I need you so desperately. Pay attention! This is a cry for help!" And then this phrase that we say too many times, "And hurry - this can't wait!" Now we think we know what needs to happen and when but God is the One who really knows the when and has the power to do something, the power to do what really needs to happen. I remember a time in our life that we knew what needed to be done and when but as we look back on it, God knew better and He was using that difficult time to get us where He wanted us.
