Friday... They found out. Now King David was the writer of many of the Psalms. In Psalm 31:1 (AMP) he says, "In You, O Lord, I have placed my trust and refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness rescue me." Through many experiences he found this to be true. In verse 3 he says, "Yes, You are my rock and my fortress; For your name's sake You will lead me and guide me." Now his son Solomon followed him as King and he was known as the wealthiest and wisest man of his time. He wrote a big portion of the book of Proverbs and in it he shared his wisdom. But then he wrote another book called Ecclesiastes and in chapter 1 verse 13 he says, "For in much [human] wisdom there is much displeasure and exasperation; increasing knowledge increases sorrow." The key word is human. But then back to verse 2 he says, "'Vanities of vanities' says the Preacher." In verse 1 he introduces himself, "The words of the Preacher, the son of David...
