Thursday... He will bend down. I have had a problem with my hearing for quite awhile now. I either have to say nothing and guess what they say or say, "What did you say?" because I really did want to know what they said. In those beginning years of being a parent, I wanted to hear everything Brett and Stefanie would say so sometimes I had to bend down to hear what they were saying because what they said was so very important to me. And it still is to me. Look at this. The writer of Psalm 86 in verse 1 (NLT) says, "Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer." Now he is God and of course he can hear my prayer but it is very important to us that he hears our prayer. We need him to hear our pray. So, God, would you come near to me, would you bend down so you can hear my prayer? Would you? Now the truth is, most of our prayers are silent but he still hears us. He really does. So, what do you need God to bend down and hear from you today? For me it is hard to realize how many...
A positive reflection for a new day...
