Psalm 19:2 (NLT), "Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known."
Friday... We so many times miss it.
Yes, so many times we miss hearing God speak to us. We just are so busy to hear what He says.
In our last home we had a large fence in our back yard. There wasn't a whole lot that we could see but we could see the sky. Where we live now we can see out over our valley. The nights are great to see all the lights and then the back yard view is filled with mountains so we don't spend as much times looking at the sky.
David writes in Psalm 19:2 (NLT), "Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known." And we so many times miss it.
Verses 1-3 says, "The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard."
In this world in which we live there are so many voices that are crying for our attention. Yes, I know it is important to know what is happening but it is also so very important to connect with God and to revile in who He is and what He can do and has done.
Yes, there is so much happening and so much of it is bad. So, maybe we need to stop for a moment and look up and listen to God encourage us. Yes, "They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard." And verse 4 continues, "Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world."
Our world is so big and God created it but it is so small in all of the Universe and He created that and He loves us and wants us to know that He is involved in our life. Just look up and know that He really does care about you.
Let's not miss it. "Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known." Just look up. That can be a great way to start our day and whenever we are feeling down and alone. Yes, yes! #todaysbeginning
